Swirlforce have used the 'Mini Jet' for work including substantial work at the Devonshire Royal Campus in Buxton (click here to see this job in our portfolio). The 'Mini Jet' is a universal dry ice machine that is especially useful due to its flexibility.

The procedure in a few words: Blasting processes such as sand blasting for removing paint, dirt, grease and similar depositions on surfaces are well known. For some years now, dry ice pellets have also been used industrially as an effective blast media. The main advantage is that the dry ice pellets sublimate completely after blasting. The only thing remaining is the removed dirt - this way, waste is reduced considerably and time is saved.

The main advantages of using dry ice machines are:
  • there are no disposal requirements (the dry ice sublimates instantly on impact to gas)
  • it's a non abrasive process
  • there are no solvents or chemicals needed
  • there is an increase in production time (no downtime)
  • it operates without electical power (as the machine operates pneumatically)
  • the process is environmentally friendly
  • the machine is compact and portable
  • the mahcine is easy to use
  • the dry process is safe to use on electrical equipment
  • the mahcine is multipurpose
